[Give Kids a Smile! Day]

GKAS! Day is an initiative created by the American Dental Association 7 years ago.  This year Columbus Dental Society chose the Westside Christian Academy for their event.  Society President Dr. Mike Whitcomb and Pediatric Dentist Dr. David Itkoff volunteered to screen, fluoride varnish and provide dental education to the students of this school.  They are pictured with the Pastor Leanne Parden, who founded the school within the church.  Other pictures are of the children who benefited from the event.  Additionally, each child received a dental goody bag which included a new toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and some age-specific school supplies.
